Kickstart: A Study Abroad Info Session
If you are looking to study abroad beyond the 2027-2028 academic year, this is the session for you! Learn about the study abroad process and what you can be doing now to prepare. See CrimsonConnect for event times (typically held Spring Quarter).

Drop-In Advising
This is where you start! Have general questions about studying abroad? Want help on how to narrow down to the right program for you? Come to our Drop-in Advising sessions! Bring your questions. Our Peer Advisors will help answer your questions & help you determine next steps.
Drop-In Advising Fall Quarter 2026 (Weeks 1-10)
- In-person Community Commons 3100:
- Monday - Thursday: 10-11am & 2-4pm
NOTE: Drop-in is not available during summer, finals week, spring break, or winter break.
1-on-1 Meetings
Once you have narrowed it down to a program, learn more specifics about the program by making an appointment with the specific advisor for the program. Click here to determine which advisor you should meet with based on your program of interest. Then follow the instructions below to make an Appointment with an OIE Advisor in the DU Student Success Hub. Before meeting with an OIE advisor you are required to attend our First Step Session (see above). OIE advisors help guide you through the study abroad application & pre-departure steps.
