Internationalization Council
The Internationalization Council advises the Vice Provost for Internationalization international education and internationalization activities at the University of Denver. The Council is an important clearinghouse for perspectives from across the campus as it supports and directs institutional international engagement.
The Council is charged with:
- Developing recommendations for policies, practices, and planning designed to promote the University's internationalization initiatives;
- Reviewing and providing non-binding recommendations regarding institutional linkages with academic institutions abroad; this includes departmental, divisional, and University-wide partnerships;
- Discussing and monitoring the internationalization components of the University’s strategic plan and reporting on internationalization initiatives and efforts across campus.
The Council’s membership draws from primarily the faculty, but also administrators, staff, students and representatives from DU's strategic partners. The Council’s main resource page is on DU’s Portfolio site.
